Welcome to our Family Medicine Practice
We welcome you to our practice and are currently accepting new patients. The practice is privately owned by Dr. Goedken and Dr. Kautzman. Our office has been providing care to families in the Cedar Rapids area for nearly 40 years.
We offer comprehensive medical care for the entire family, across the spectrum of pediatrics to geriatrics. We are committed to providing each patient with an exceptional level of care and attention. We are a charter member of the Wellmark BCBS Collaboration on Quality program which measures quality care and cost-effective prescribing and have earned their highest ranking each year.
By being independent we are able to schedule adequate time for each office visit, have receptionists rather than machines answer our phones, maintain 24-hour availability of a provider for emergency calls and see our patients at both hospitals.
We take the time to be thorough, reviewing treatment options and goals of therapy. We value your health and promise to work hard in educating you about changes you need to maintain good health.
Family Physicians of Cedar Rapids is conveniently located in the downtown medical corridor between both hospitals.
